ATLANTA (TCN) — A 17-year-old student with special needs was hospitalized after allegedly being assaulted with scissors by a classmate on Dec. 12.
His alleged attacker was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, WXIA reports. According to a statement from Atlanta Public Schools on Dec. 15, the suspect is in jail without bond. He is also facing disciplinary charges under the school district’s code of conduct.
