Tens of thousands without power in Georgia

GEORGIA — More than 23,000 customers across Georgia are without electricity Friday morning following overnight storms that moved through parts of the state, according to PowerOutage.com.

As of the latest update, 23,034 customers were reported without power out of more than 5.3 million customers tracked statewide. The outages were scattered across several regions, with higher concentrations in north Georgia, metro Atlanta, and parts of central Georgia.

Fannin County reported the highest number of outages with 3,338 customers without power. Fulton County followed with 2,682 outages, while Bibb County reported 2,661 customers affected…
