Anthony Deqavius Oneal, 31, of Jonesboro, is accused of entering the Royal Package Store at 1860 Atlanta Road SE in Smyrna, and pointing a gun at the clerk while demanding money from the cash register on Dec. 6 at 12:01 p.m., according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department.
Oneal left the scene with $120 dollars and a box of Backwoods Cigars. It unlawful for Oneal to possess a gun after having been convicted of armed robbery on June 7, 2023, in Fulton County Superior Court, according to the warrant.
Oneal is charged with aggravated assault – intent to rob; armed robbery weapon; possession of firearm during the commission of a crime; and possession firearm felon Georgia. He was arrested Dec. 10 at 1:43 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records…
