A Georgia woman who fatally shot her husband pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter, as well as other charges.

Early on the morning of Sept. 19, 2022, Iesha Zenobia Harmon called 911 to report that she had shot her husband, Shedrick Harmon, in their home in Decatur, Ga., claiming that it was accidental, according to the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office.

“According to Iesha’s account, two firearms and unfolded laundry were on top of the couple’s bed,” the district attorney’s office said, per the news release. “She claimed to have picked up one of the firearms wrong, discharging the weapon and striking the victim.”…
