A Smyrna man is being charged with aggravated animal cruelty after allegedly shooting his dog in the head at a Powder Springs park.
Dauson Womack is accused of shooting his dog, G-Pablo, at Lost Mountain Park on Dallas Highway on Dec. 2, days after refusing treatment for the dog from a local veterinarian.
On Nov. 29, Womack allegedly sought treatment for the dog at Dogwood Veterinary Specialty and Emergency in Marietta for a perineal hernia and bladder entrapment, according to his arrest warrant…
