A shooting occurred yesterday in a Northwest Atlanta neighborhood at 314 Skipper Pl NW, resulting in a 16-year-old boy sustaining a gunshot wound to the foot. Police responded to the scene after the incident was reported at approximately 6:57 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found the teenager conscious and alert. He was taken to a hospital for medical treatment, according to a statement from the Atlanta Police Department.
