ATLANTA — Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr this week said he would appeal a decision that, in his opinion, “wrongly dismissed” RICO charges against 61 people for alleged organized criminal activity in opposition to the Atlanta Public Safety Training Center.
Fulton County Judge Kevin Farmer determined Carr did not have the authority to secure the 2023 indictments under Georgia’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations law.
