United States of America Pageants is proud to announce Jamelia Potter of Stone Mountain has been crowned as United States of America’s Ms. Georgia 2026 and will represent the great state of Georgia at the 2026 national competition.
A native of the U.S. Virgin Islands, Jamelia credits her upbringing for instilling the values of service, resilience, and community that guide her work today. Jamelia is a communications professional and creative storyteller with deep roots in education and community engagement. She currently serves as a Communications Coordinator with DeKalb County School District, where she helps shape district-wide messaging, digital content, and media initiatives that inform, inspire, and uplift students, families, and stakeholders. Through her work, Jamelia has become a visible advocate for student voice, educational equity, and creative expression both in and out the classroom.
Her personal platform, Curves of Courage, was born from her passion for empowerment, wellness, and self-confidence. Through Curves of Courage, Jamelia encourages women and young people to embrace who they are, prioritize growth, and pursue purpose unapologetically.
