GEORGIA — A 19-year-old woman was arrested over the weekend following an investigation into alleged animal cruelty after a video circulated widely on social media, according to police.
The Brookhaven Police Department said Aspen Easterling, 19, was booked on one charge of animal cruelty. Easterling, who also uses the name “Aspen Kartier,” is known online as a teen rapper and streamer.
Police said Easterling was livestreaming on Twitch on Jan. 29, 2026, when viewers heard a small dog yelping loudly. The dog was not visible on the livestream, but the audio raised concerns among viewers.
