Georgia woman charged in ‘severe’ case of horse neglect, investigators say

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A Georgia woman is facing 10 criminal charges following an investigation of severe horse neglect, according to the Georgia Department of Agriculture (GDA).

GDA officials said Ashley Wilson, a Pike County resident, is alleged to have moved 10 horses to a pasture without providing food, water or adequate grazing, despite the horses already being in a neglected condition.
