MARIETTA, Ga. (WKRC) – A 5-year-old boy was allegedly killed after months of abuse from his father while the child’s mother stood by and did nothing despite four other children living in the home.
Officers with the Marietta Police Department were sent to a home at around 6 p.m. on February 1 after a mother and father called 911 to report that their 5-year-old son had fallen unconscious and that several attempts at performing CPR had not helped, according to information obtained by local outlet WAGA.
The child was taken to the hospital and was placed on life support for multiple days before he was pronounced dead on February 4, the police department announced. Two days before the boy died, his parents, 31-year-old Michael Horn and 31-year-old Alexiss Eitrem, were arrested in connection to his injuries and eventual death, WAGA reported…
