Atlanta saw another incident of gun violence this weekend, as police responded to the scene of a shooting on Cascade Avenue. In a brief from the Atlanta Police Department, it was disclosed that yesterday, police found a man wounded by gunshots after being called to 672 Cascade Ave SW at approximately 2:56 p.m. The victim, whose identity has not been released, received swift medical attention and was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
The police are presently working to fully understand the events that led to this violent act. The Aggravated Assault Unit has been notified and has begun an investigation into the circumstances of the shooting.
