The city manager of Social Circle tells Channel 2 Action News that he was blindsided by the government’s recent purchase of a massive, newly constructed warehouse facility to be converted into one of the largest immigrant detention facilities in the country.
He says they are looking at what options they have to prevent construction of the detention center.
