APD investigators seeking tips to identify men wanted in gas station robbery

ATLANTA — Investigators with the Atlanta Police Department are seeking tips from the public to help identify robbery suspects.

The incident occurred on the afternoon of Feb. 19, when officers responded to a robbery call at a 76 gas station at 3221 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive NW. When they arrived, the person who called for assistance stated that he saw two men smoking marijuana outside of the store, and when the men entered, the caller confronted them.

The caller told police that after confronting the men, one of them became upset and tried access a secure area of the store. The caller told the man that he couldn’t enter the secured area and said the suspect threatened to shoot him…
