Gwinnett Co. DA says there’s not enough evidence to file charges in deadly shooting of Atlanta rapper T-Hood

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — The Gwinnett County District Attorney has made a decision on whether or not charges will be filed in the deadly shooting of Atlanta rapper T-Hood last fall.

On August 9, 2025, Gwinnett County Police were called to the shooting on Lee Road in Snellville, where the rapper, whose real name is Tevin Hood, was found dead.

Days later, on August 13, 2025, police said the incident was being investigated as a possible self-defense case and mentioned the son of two ‘Love and Hip Hop’ stars in the police report…
