19-year-old grazed by bullet in southwest Atlanta shooting, police say

ATLANTA — Officers with the Atlanta Police Department are investigating a shooting late Saturday night in southwest Atlanta that left a 19-year-old man injured.

Police said officers were dispatched around 10:45 p.m. to reports of a person shot at 1575 Elixir Ave. SW.

When officers arrived, they found a 19-year-old man who had been grazed by a bullet. He was alert, conscious and breathing when he was transported by ambulance to a hospital for treatment, authorities said…
