CLAYTON COUNTY, Georgia – A Clayton County jury has convicted Kevin Lamar Flowers of murder in the brutal beating death of a 77-year-old man he had met online and lived with for several weeks.
According to Clayton County District Attorney Tasha M. Mosley, Flowers was found guilty of malice murder, two counts of felony murder, aggravated battery, and aggravated assault in connection with the death of Ivan Millman.
Prosecutors presented evidence during the trial showing that around July 26, 2023, Flowers attacked Millman inside his Clayton County home, beating him with a towel rack. Authorities said the two had met online and that Flowers had been living with Millman for about three weeks prior to the assault…
