Two people arrested following large fentanyl and meth bust in Georgia

GEORGIA — Federal agents seized large amounts of fentanyl and methamphetamine during two drug trafficking investigations in Norcross, authorities said.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia and the Drug Enforcement Administration, agents recovered more than 30 pounds of fentanyl and about 10 pounds of methamphetamine during the operations on March 11.

Benjamin Alberto Lozoya, 27, of Chamblee, and Arturo Carreno-Rivera, 45, of Mexico, were arrested and face federal drug trafficking charges…
