Hunt on for Fairburn Road Shooter After Southwest Atlanta Attack

Atlanta police are turning to the public for help finding a person of interest in a southwest Atlanta shooting that left a 19-year-old man wounded along the 300 block of Fairburn Road on Feb. 20. The victim was taken to a hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

Detectives have released surveillance video and still photos and are asking anyone who recognizes the person shown to contact investigators, according to WSB-TV. The outlet reports that officers found the 19-year-old at the scene with an apparent gunshot wound and that detectives are treating the case as an aggravated assault investigation. WSB-TV also reports that a reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the suspect.
