Man accused in unreleased Beyoncé music theft rejects plea offer, says he’s ready for trial

ATLANTA — A man accused of stealing items from a vehicle belonging to Grammy-winning singer Beyoncé is heading to trial after rejecting a plea offer on Wednesday.

According to Atlanta Police, two people who claimed to be part of Beyoncé’s team reported that two suitcases were missing from their black Jeep Wagoneer that was parked in the Krog Street parking garage on July 8. Police also said the two people found the back window busted.

Kelvin Evans was arrested after Atlanta Police connected him to the theft in October 2025, a few months after the items were reported stolen. He was charged with entering an automobile or other motor vehicle with the intent to commit theft or felony and criminal trespassing.

The “Texas Hold ‘ Em” singer was in Atlanta for her Cowboy Carter tour from July 10 to July 14. The incident happened a few days before she was set to start performances…
