JONESBORO, Ga. — A Clayton County jury has found a 47-year-old man guilty on multiple charges stemming from a 2020 case involving a minor, according to District Attorney Tasha M. Mosley.
Mcdouglas Nettles was convicted on eight of the 11 charges included in his indictment. Some of the charges included Rape, Child Molestation, Aggravated Child Molestation and Enticing a Child for Indecent Purposes. Evidence presented during trial showed that on April 24, 2020, Nettles enticed a 14-year-old girl into his vehicle and took her to a park in the Misty Meadows neighborhood (Hampton, GA), where he raped and sodomized her.
Nettles was already on the Georgia Sex Offender list for a conviction in May, 2012, in South Carolina. According to online records, he previously resided in Winston-Salem, NC…
