ATLANTA, GA — A 40-year-old Atlanta resident died Saturday night following an apparent injury while preparing to zipline at Toro Verde Adventure Park in Orocovis, Puerto Rico.
According to preliminary reports from Puerto Rican authorities, Tamirah Yasmeen Dix suffered a heavy blow to the face as she was getting ready for the ride.
Despite the incident, she completed the zipline course and reunited with her relatives, as detailed in accounts provided to agents from the Criminal Investigation Corps (CIC) of Vega Baja.
