Georgia cops issue 15 citations after dump truck inspection, say they’ve ‘never seen a commercial vehicle this bad’

Multiple Georgia law enforcement agencies assisted with inspecting a loaded dump truck operating in Duluth that they say was “nothing short of alarming.”

On March 31, 2026, the Duluth Police Department (DPD) described a recent encounter with a 64,000-pound dump truck by Officer Carrero from the DPD traffic unit.

Police said that “the rear inner rims had come apart, and one brake pad had completely separated and exploded off the rim.”…
