ATLANTA — Three Democratic gubernatorial candidates for governor answered questions about how they would lead the state if they became Georgia’s next governor. 11Alive and Nexstar Media Group hosted a live debate Wednesday night.

The debate featured former Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, former Lieutenant Governor Geoff Duncan, and former DeKalb County CEO Michael Thurmond, the only candidates who qualified to appear on stage under 11Alive and Nexstar Media Group’s standardized, non-discriminatory debate participation criteria.
