GEORGIA — A Fulton County woman is facing multiple animal cruelty charges after authorities say they discovered dozens of animals living in unsanitary conditions inside an Alpharetta home.
According to the Fulton County Police Department, officers rescued 24 animals — including 17 dogs and seven cats — from the residence on Compass Pointe Crossing earlier this month. Investigators said the home was in such poor condition that responding officers treated it as a hazardous environment and wore protective gear, including face masks, before entering.
