*Former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Lisa Wu is fighting back against serious legal accusations. The “RHOA” alum has been accused of helping defraud a longtime friend out of a home in DeKalb County, Georgia.
Lisa Wu denies any wrongdoing, calling the claims preposterous. The situation remains under active police investigation as of May 16, 2026.
The Allegations Against Lisa Wu
Lisa Wu’s longtime friend, Norma Denise Mitchem, filed a police report last month alleging theft by deception. According to the report, Lisa Wu and her boyfriend, Donald Jacob, allegedly helped Norma purchase a home through an LLC. Norma claims she could not qualify for a loan on her own, so Lisa Wu promised to transfer the deed back once issues like a lien were resolved.
Instead, Norma alleges that Lisa Wu tried to sell the house back to her at a higher price. Norma’s nephew also told police that Lisa Wu and Donald Jacob were involved in the alleged scheme. The story broke widely on May 15, 2026, after TMZ obtained the police report.
Lisa Wu’s Response to the Accusations
Lisa Wu has strongly denied all allegations of fraudulent activity. In a statement to TMZ, the “RHOA” alum said: “For more than 30 years, I’ve built my career and reputation with integrity, professionalism, and hard work. I have absolutely no involvement in fraudulent activity of any kind, and the idea that I would be implicated simply because of people I know or professional relationships, is preposterous.”…
