AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – The Georgia Department of Transportation has awarded new contracts for projects in our area.
Emanuel County
McLendon Enterprises has been awarded a $2.71 million project to build a new roundabout at the intersection of US Route 1/State Route 4 and Kite Road.
The roundabout is expected to reduce crashes and improve traffic flow at the intersection.
A completion date of September 30, 2027 has been given.
Columbia and Richmond counties
