Fox Creek Middle in North Augusta Will Open with 550 Students, 200 More Than Expected

Fox Creek Middle School will start classes on July 23 with about 550 students. That’s 200 more than predicted. The sixth-grade class has hit capacity and created a 30-student wait list, while grades seven and eight remain open for registration.

The $22 million charter school was built next to the high school in North Augusta. Construction wraps up seven weeks before the academic year begins, with only finishing touches remaining before teachers can move into classrooms and offices. Principal Tiffany Shepherd said parents and students will be able to tour the facility in early July.
