BURKE COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – The search for a missing Burke County woman entered its 4th day Thursday as investigators continued searching several areas of the county and family members pleaded for the public’s help in finding her.
According to the Burke County Sheriff’s Office, 31-year-old Starr Moretti was reported missing after leaving her home on Terrell Forth Road on Sunday.Since then, search crews have combed through wooded areas across Burke County using drones, K-9 teams, UTVs and ground searchers. On Thursday, investigators added a mounted search and rescue team to help cover difficult terrain and heavily wooded areas.
