NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WJBF) — Savannah Riverkeeper says recent testing at the sandbar near Riverview Park found E. coli levels more than ten times the EPA’s recommended limit for recreational waters.
The group says the contamination makes the area unsafe for swimming, wading, or other water activities.
