‘We can absolutely do better jobs as parents,’ sheriff says after teen killing

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Richmond County Sheriff Eugene Brantley on Wednesday discussed teen violence and guns in the aftermath of a fatal shooting at a party for teenagers.

The shooting happened early Saturday at a short-term rental home in the 200 block of Warren Road. Brantley said the home had been rented for a teen birthday party.
