Fine Fettle dispensary opening in Evans comes ahead of Ga. cannabis changes

EVANS, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – For years, Georgia’s medical cannabis patients have been limited to products capped at 5% THC, and only a small share of Georgians have enrolled in the state program.

That changes July 1, when Senate Bill 220 takes effect.

The law removes the 5% potency cap, legalizes medical cannabis flower and vape products for the first time in Georgia’s regulated program, adds qualifying conditions including autism and lupus, and ends annual recertification for patients with chronic illnesses…
