AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Cheryl Adams served in the military for more than 20 years. What she didn’t anticipate was the journey to recovery that would follow.
“I served for 20 years, but the catch is that I did 3 actives, waited 21 years, and went back as a reservist for 17,” Adams said.
