Augusta mayor-elect outlines priorities, listens to constituents

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) — Mayor-elect Steven Kendrick will take office in January and is preparing to lead Augusta. He spoke to the Rotary Club about his plans for the city.

Kendrick said Thursday that economic stability is his top focus. He also outlined his transition committee and its subcommittees, which are working on priorities before he takes office.

The Georgia Department of Transportation awarded multiple contracts for projects on Interstate 520, Mike Padgett Highway and State Highway 88.
