Richmond County leaders to set 2026 property tax millage rate

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Augusta-Richmond County leaders will decide the community’s 2026 property tax millage rate at a public meeting next week.

Commissioners will set the rate Sept. 8 at 10 a.m. in the Lee N. Beard Commission Chamber at the Municipal Building, 535 Telfair St.

As required by Georgia law, the county also released its current-year tax digest and a five-year history of its property tax levy…
