EVANS, Ga. (WJBF) – Deputies with the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office confirmed they responded to the scene of a collision involving a 11-year-old on a bicycle and a truck.
According to deputies, the incident took place Thursday at the intersection of Blackstone Camp Road and River Island Parkway.
“Preliminary investigation indicates the juvenile was crossing Blackstone Camp Road from the River Island subdivision utilizing the crosswalk when he was struck by a Toyota Truck traveling west on Blackstone Camp Road,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement…
