Georgia State Patrol reports 273 DUI arrests since Friday morning, while Columbia County deputies say no serious injuries or fatalities have been reported locally so far.
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – As drivers make their way home from the Labor Day holiday weekend, law enforcement agencies across Georgia are reporting hundreds of arrests, citations and crashes during the holiday travel period.
Georgia State Patrol says troopers have made 273 DUI arrests since the travel period began Friday morning.
Troopers have also written 357 distracted-driving citations, 533 seat-belt citations and investigated 158 crashes statewide…
