AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – This month marks two years since Hurricane Helene. Business owners and residents say this Labor Day feels different, as more places and recreation areas reopen.
For Tim Newcome, an Aiken resident and parent, the hurricane is in the past, as he pushed his family onto the flowing canal this Labor Day.
