A smoke shop opening near Glenn Hills Elementary School has uncovered a gap in Augusta’s zoning laws. These rules haven’t changed since 1963. The business sits just off Georgetown Drive in south Augusta, less than a two-minute walk from the school.
“There is no ordinance at this time on the books that would stop them from putting one of these up, which is so mind-baffling to me,” said Monique Braswell, per WRDW.
