AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Community members in Richmond County gathered Wednesday evening to discuss the future of Terrace Manor Elementary School.
The meeting centered on a proposal to transform the vacant school into an adult day-care center and after-school program for children.
“We really think the community needed to be educated about what we were doing,” said Melvin Parker and Shelley Mack of Mack Lander LLC. “Now that more people understand the project, we’ve received a lot of positive feedback. We believe it will be an asset to the community.”…
