Two people possibly were injured Friday afternoon in a reported shooting on the Vandivere Road in Augusta.
Just after 1:30 p.m. Friday, Richmond County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 2100 block of Vandivere Road for reports of shots fired, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.
When deputies arrived, they could not find any victims, according to the release. They were told two people drove themselves to the hospital with gunshot wounds.
Investigators are on scene, according to the release. As of 2:30 p.m., no arrests were confirmed.
