EMANUEL COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – At approximately 6:00 pm on January 31st Emanuel County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to Emanuel Medical Center Emergency Room.
A 5-year-old child had been run over by a truck on Outler Circle in north Emanuel County.
The child currently is in critical condition in an Augusta Hospital.
The driver of the truck fled the scene.
Authorities are looking for Joshua Walker Purvis of Kite, GA.
He was last seen driving the truck in the picture below:
