The City of Augusta on Friday announced all CSX railroad crossings in Richmond County are open, except one.
The CSX railroad crossing on St. Sebastian Way near Greene Street remains closed, according to the city.
On Thursday, Columbia County announced CSX will not be working on the RR Crossings at Industrial Park Drive and Hardy McManus Road, according to a news release. The closure will be removed and traffic will resume. The Hightower Drive crossing is still being worked on.
Both counties noted that they are “not responsible for the operations or maintenance of CSX railroad crossings,” according to previous reporting.
