Sunday Morning Update: After a beautiful Saturday with clear skies and temps in the 60s, we’re now in the second half of the split weekend weather forecast. Temperatures will be on the cooler side today with highs in the lower 50s. As a low pressure system moves through the southeast and draws in moisture from the gulf, skies will be mostly cloudy this morning and rain will follow this afternoon. With showers moving in from the south, our southern most counties will be the first to break out their umbrellas and will also have the highest rain totals. Rain chances increase to a more widespread coverage later in the afternoon to evening hours Sunday, with scattered showers lingering into Monday.
