Dental College of GA at AU offering free dental screenings on Saturday, February 10th

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – The Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University will be offering free dental screenings to the public.

Organizers say this is a part of its ongoing community engagement efforts.

The free screenings will take place at the Barnyard Flea Market at Booth G10, located at 1625 Doug Barnard Parkway on Saturday, February 10th from 9 A.M. to 1 P.M.

Organizers say the screenings are open to everyone, and walk-ins are welcome.

According to organizers, dental students will provide visual oral inspections to check for signs of dental or gum disease under the supervision of the DCG faculty, and patients will be referred to a dental practice for cleaning, further assessment, or treatment as needed.
