Saturday night update: It’s going to be another cloudy day on Sunday with mild temperatures near 70 degrees. A stationary front will bring some showers midday and will become more widespread during the evening, with thunderstorms also possible. Rounds of rain and storms are expected on Monday, with the threat of severe weather starting midday and lingering into the evening. As a result, a VIPIR 6 ALERT DAY has been issued for the potential of isolated flooding, damaging winds, and a brief spin-up tornado. We dry out on Tuesday with breezy conditions. Temperatures will be much cooler, with highs near 60 degrees. We make a turn back into the clouds by the end of the week, with temperatures moderating back to the mid-60s. Next weekend will be another wet one, but storms are not forecasted at this time. Temperatures will be much cooler, with highs only in the middle 50s.
