Man wanted by Grovetown Police Dept. for Aggravated Assault

GROVETOWN, Ga. (WJBF) – The Grovetown Police Department is seeking the assistance of the public in locating a man wanted for Aggravated Assault.

According to the Grovetown Police Department, the incident happened on March 10th in Grovetown.

Authorities say Andrew Odom, 34, has multiple warrants on file that include Aggravated Assault, False Imprisonment, Battery, and Obstruction.

Odom is described to be 5’11”, weighs 190 pounds, and has blue eyes and black hair.

According to the incident report, the responding officer was dispatched to the Grovetown residence, which he mentions in the report had been previously responded due to alcohol related incidents in the past, after a woman who was believed to be heard crying on the phone during the 911 call.

The responding officer states that after the first visit to the residence, there was no answer after several knocks and calls to the phone via dispatch; however, dispatch advised there was another for service saying that they heard the woman crying and also a man threatening the woman.
