Hundreds show up for Augusta Tech’s Second Annual Easter Egg Hunt, despite rain

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – Even though the weather was stormy, it was all smiles at Augusta Technical College as they moved their annual egg hunt indoors and had hundreds of participants show up in search of Easter-themed surprises. WJBF Photojournalist Regynal McKie was there to witness and join in with the festivities.

“We’re not going to let a little thing like a little rain stop us from having the Bunny come out and say hello to the community,” said Kimberly Holden, Executive Director of Marketing at Augusta Technical College.

Augusta Technical College invited the public to join them Wednesday night for their 2nd Annual Augusta Technical College Easter Egg Hunt at the Augusta Campus March 27th, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Due to inclement weather, Augusta Technical leadership moved the Easter Egg Hunt inside the Jack B. Patrick Information Technology Center, Building 1000, on the Augusta Campus.

Participants were divided up into different age groups and, due to the size of the Jack B. Patrick Center, they were able to spread the excitement around and have different egg hunts throughout the building.
