AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) — The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly shooting.
Authorities say on Sunday, May 5, at 8:05 p.m., the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 2100 Block of C Street about a shooting involving two victims.
Deputies found the first victim who was shot at least once and pronounced deceased at the scene. The second victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of a gunshot to their leg.
We are working to learn the victim’s identity.
