Man wanted in reference to Augusta Mall shooting arrested

RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – One of the suspects wanted in reference to the Augusta Mall shooting in April has been arrested, according to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities stated on Monday that Kay-Sean Nealy , 20, was arrested in Waterbury, Connecticut.

The shooting incident according on Sunday, April 28th at 1:43 P.M. at the Dillard’s inside of the Augusta Mall, and authorities say that one person was shot.

Tybrea Nelson, 24 , was arrested on Monday, April 29th, on two counts of Aggravated Assault for her role in the shooting, but authorities made clear that Nelson WAS NOT the shooter.

On Wednesday, May 1st, Samoney Tanskley, 26, was also wanted by the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office for aggravated assault.
